Updates

My appointment with Dr. Goulet went alright, I suppose. Nothing really happened. He examined the lump and said that if I want him to remove it, he will. I was wanting it removed mainly due to the pain that it causes and he feels that other factors could be contributing to the pain, that the pain could have come from the biopsy being done and that if we remove it there is a good chance the pain will not go away. He said that it is nothing to be concerned about if the pain is tolerable and that if I were his daughter, he would just say to leave it alone. I kind of agree with him. If there is a good chance that the pain will still be there afterwards (other factors, scar tissue, nerve damage, etc) than why bother. I don't want to be cut around on if it isn't really going to do any good - and knowing my luck, it would become worse. So, unless it grows or becomes unbearable, we are leaving it alone.

Weekly weight loss challenge at work - Lost a 1/2 pound. I know nothing great but it is a start. There was someone on there who lost 9 pounds. That is crazy! And there were some who even gained so I didn't feel all that bad. Plus, we haven't been the best this week. We went to Carraba's on Saturday, Chick-fil-a for lunch on Monday (after the work-out), Culver's yesterday (with no work-out) and then a late dinner last night. I guess you don't realize how bad that sounds until you actually say it.

We had some bad storms here last night - there were Tornado Warnings in Hendricks & Marion counties. We are pretty much on the line of both. I started to get a little nervous because of the thunder and rain. It was just being weird. I started to wonder if that was the train noise that everyone says that a tornado sounds like. I guess not though. I tried to put the cats in the laundry room in case something happened, I wouldn't have to be chasing them down. They HATE shut doors though so we left them be. I finally decided that nothing was going to happen except some wind, rain, thunder, strong lightening, and hail. I then fell asleep hoping the power survived and my alarm clock would wake me in the morning. And of course, it did.
