Peppermint Mocha

YUM! With my impending sore throat approaching (you know - slightly reddish swollen throat, sinus drainage, cold weather, no appetite) I decided to grab a warm Starbucks beverage this morning. I have to say I think I am slightly addicted. This one was so good! I tried the Eggnog Latte last week and didn't care for that one though.

Other random thoughts:

Matt has been sick this week. Sleeping all day and missing work - which isn't like him at all so that tells me he really is sick. I think he is starting to feel better though. I just hope that I don't get it now considering my roommate at work was out the beginning of the week with the same thing she said.

My back and legs are no longer hurting me. This is HUGE! I am a big baby when I am in pain and I hate that.

Mom, Leslie and I went dress shopping last weekend. I think I found "the one". I absolutely LOVE it! I am very excited and now am in full wedding mode.

The weather SUCKS! Wednesday we had such insane storms (everything is in tact and everyone is okay). My boss was sending people home from work early to beat the storms but of course, I had class that night so I stayed until it was time for me to head there. I debated whether or not I should go but since we had a test, I went. We were about half way through the test in a room with glass on both outer walls (the floor to ceiling glass panels making a wall - does that make sense) when the tornado sirens went off. We then had to move to the lounge and FINISH the test there. Ugh! What distractions. People kept coming in to seek shelter and there was so much talking in the hallways. Not to mention there was really no room in the lounge. Oh well! I think I did alright and still survived.
Today is freezing! Snowing and 19 degress this morning. Welcome winter. Not ready for it but who ever is really. You never know what you are going to get in Indiana so the fact that it is mid-November and we are just now seeing this is good.

Thanksgiving is almost here! I am actually kind of excited to have a little time off and be going home. We also have our engagement pictures to take home and share with everyone over the holidays.

And now I really need to start working.
