This Weekend

This last weekend seemed to stay pretty busy.

Friday - I had my appointment with Dr. Goulet. He walked in and said immediately "We said if it grew at all, it had to come out, so out it is". Then after an exam with a med student, him, and his nurse (I felt like a medical expirement at this point), he decided that since I had to have an ultrasound done on the new lump that we would go ahead and view this one over again to see if it actually had grown. If not, it was staying. I was totally prepared to be to work by 10:00 that morning but they had different plans and actually got me over to radiology right away (which was nice because now I don't have to go back). The new lump is classic fibroadenoma and nothing to be worried about and the radiologist says the original one has not grown. So - everything is good.

Saturday - Mom, Matt, and Emma came down to help Matt install a new microwave (the over the oven kind) and a full view storm door. We really like both and will have to take pictures soon. Both of these seemed to take longer than we thought they would but at the same time there wasn't any real rush to it.

Sunday - After breakfast (and almost getting sick from all of the cigarette smoke), they headed to the airport to pick Matt's mom up and Matt & I headed back to the house to relax. We didn't do much of anything but we did stay up to watch the Colts game. Last night wasn't a good night of sleep so today has been long as well. And now - off to bed.
