SNOW!

The snow started falling late Monday night. We woke up yesterday to sleet/ice hitting the house, which continued for most of the day. I have to admit the sound of it became irritating after 5 or so hours. Thankfully, it turned over to snow again last night. On Monday, work had prepared us to not be able to come in Tuesday and to bring some work home with us. However, there wasn't much that I could bring home and what I did was not enough to last me two days. Classes were also cancelled for both days. Matt is going crazy being trapped in the house which is slowly driving me crazy as well. If it were any other day with nowhere to go he would be fine. It is just the fact that we can't go anywhere that is a pain. However, I am sure if we were kids (or had kids) we would be loving this.

I think we ended up accumulating around 9" plus drifting. Further north, received up to 16" and most counties are under Snow Emergencies that restricts non-emergency travel. Today, we have the Blowing Snow advisory out which is going to create even more drifts. Thankfully, we are not in upstate New York though - I have no idea how they are dealing with 9 plus feet of snow.

Suck it up and quit complaining!!!!
You have nothing in snow compared to us up here in Mishawaka. At least 2 plus feet on either side of the drive.
