The weekend
First off, Congratulations to Sam on being Mentone Egg Days' Mr. Rooster. Matt and I didn't make it back home for Egg Days this weekend but hopefully someone will have pictures to share from it. Joyce submitted a cake for the cake decorating contest and won 1st place. She then gave each of the kids (Elizabeth, Thomas, and Sam) a dollar to participate in the cake walk. Sam, or Mr. Rooster, ended up taking home Joyce's cake. Everyone enjoyed that the cake Matt's mom made went home with my family.
Friday night was date night for Matt and I again. We went to dinner at Olive Garden (YUM!) and then to see Knocked Up. This movie was HILARIOUS! Seriously, we both loved it more than The 40 Year Old Virgin. It did a great job of capturing the guy/girl dynamic. There were points when the sister was going off about random stuff and you had to laugh because it was absolutely insane but tried to hide your face at the same time because it is something that you have completely done on more than one occassion. We decided that we will definitely be buying this movie when it comes out.
Other than that, nothing too exciting. Oh - we joined Plainfield Recreation Center - which has a nice water park that Matt and Brian visited on Saturday. Hopefully, I force myself to go get some use out of the place as well. On Friday I also learned that I have a cyst the size of a tennis ball on my ovary, typically the size of a walnut/almond. No wonder I have been in some pain. So now we are in the waiting and watching period. Hopes are that it will either shrink or burst (or let's just go with with shrink one) over the next few weeks. If it does not, I will most likely be having laproscopic surgery. Granted I know this is very minimally invasive but still do not want to have it. Same concept as getting your gallbladder or appendix removed and it just doesn't sound like all that much fun to me.
Matt just got back from his baseball game - I was a horrible wife and didn't go - so I am sure that he will update soon with those details.

I hope it shrinks for you too, wow, that is kind of scary and I can only imagine the pain. Hope you feel better! Also, let me know how you like the Plainfield rec. center. Did you know they might build a YMCA in Avon on CR200? That would be really nice!
