Nothing going on...

Pretty boring around here lately. Matt & I babysat for Neil & Amanda Monday night so they could go to the Colts/Bears game. It has been a long time since I've watched any kids and it was actually kind of fun. Brady went down for the night soon after we got there so we really only had to entertain Ava. Oh my goodness, that girl has so much energy. I have no clue where she gets it from - although the second glass of chocolate milk that Matt gave her might have helped. Thankfully she only had a few drinks out of that one. I did learn an important lesson though - you really have to be careful what you are watching or saying when kids are around. After watching Shrek 2 (and not being able to figure out their theatre system) we decided to watch the game. Well, during halftime the Michael Vick case was being discussed. Can you see where this is going? Matt & Ava were playing and Ava wasn't paying any attention to the TV but all of the sudden picked up on dogfighting and asked what it was. CRAP! I wasn't sure exactly what to say so asked her if Bailey & Griffin (their dogs) always get along. She seemed content with that answer and moved on. Oops!

School started back up for me this week. I have an online class and a class at campus Tues & Thurs nights - just like the summer semester. Hopefully it will all go well.
