Date Night!
Was absolutely perfect! It was so good to get out and just spend time together, not really worrying about a thing. Loved it!
Started out the evening with some bright, cheery flowers since it was so cold & dreary out. He thought they would brighten my day :)
Dinner at Eagle's Nest! AMAZING! This was the first time either of us had been there. I absolutely loved the view and atmosphere. It would be very pretty with light snow falling too. The food was good as well. Matt loved his Prime Rib...seriously, I think he fell in love with that piece of meat. I got the filet and it was good...though I will say that St. Elmo's filet is better. Definitely someplace we would go back to again -- occasionally though.
Apparently we were there for an hour as this was our beginning and ending view. It takes an hour for the restaurant to make a full rotation.
(Excuse the dark pictures...used iPhone camera in a candle-lit restaurant)
Followed by hot chocolate from the chocolate shop on the circle (technically I think a South Bend Chocolate Company shop). It too was very yummy!
Came home and curled up on the couch to watch a movie. It was a perfect date night! I'm not sure I could possibly love Matt more. Though I do have a feeling that I will absolutely, completely, madly fall in love with him on a different level watching him become a father :) I can't wait!

I want some cocoa! Mint Cocoa to be specific. With REAL whip cream....YUM!
Looks like great fun! I see Matt took my suggestion for hot chocolate on the circle! YAY! Now, go back there once the tree is lit up...it's wonderful :-)
