32 weeks
All blood work came back perfectly normal! I'm very happy about this and am completely fine with my itching being due to my own craziness. I was not liking the idea that we would HAVE to deliver him early if I had the cholestasis. If he decides to come early that's one thing but the thought of making that decision (and knowing when exactly the right time would be) was a little intimidating.
How Far Along: 32 weeks
Size of baby: large jicama (is it wrong that I have no clue what this is) ~ 3.75 pounds, 16.7 inches
Total Weight Gain/Loss: haha - our scale decided to stop working this morning when it told me that I had lost 10 pounds....ummm, yeah - that didn't happen. Needless to say, we need new batteries so I'll be skipping the weight for this week.
Maternity Clothes: Of course. Wore my below the belly maternity jeans today without the beband - I think that's a first. Also, realized that by the end of this pregnancy some maternity items will no longer fit.
Movement: Yep - I don't think this child will ever be one to sit still...if he takes after his dad at all, he'll even rock while sitting (which Matt keeps telling me is a sign of being a genius). Last night, he had completely wedged himself into my left side...it was so weird to feel his entire back curved along the wall of my uterus. It did hurt though and felt like he was trying to back his way out of my side so I had to do some gentle pushing to get him to move.
Sleep: I think I could have actually cried this morning when I woke up and realized that I had actually slept a nice stretch of time. Sweet sleep! The last few days have been draining with the totally broken-up, restless sleep that I was having. And yes, I feel a little silly complaining about that since I'm sure it will only be worse with a newborn.
Symptoms: exhaustion, hips aching, belly button becoming more shallow as it starts to flatten out - it's not there yet but it definitely does weird Matt out.
What I miss: not sure - sleeping a decent stretch of time
Cravings: WATER!
Best Moment this week: just loving him! He makes me laugh with his movements, kicks, and punches. We also are working more on his nursery....preparing his name to hang above the crib (even though we still aren't revealing it til he arrives).
