35 weeks

Today marks 35/35 - 35 weeks pregnant/35 more days until due date

How Far Along: 35 weeks
Size of baby: honeydew melon ~ 5.25 pounds, over 18 inches long
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +19.5lbs
Maternity Clothes: Yep - thank goodness they are made instead of just wearing larger sizes and looking like I'm wearing a potato sack.
Movement: He's slowing down but still remaining active. 1:30 am still seems to be his favorite time to go crazy. Not sure which position he is in now - hoping it's butt up and that's what I'm feeling mostly. Whatever it is, he moves but just side to side, not jabbing. Matt also commented tonight on how his movements are feeling different. He's just running out of room in there.
Sleep: a bit better this week thankfully. I'm getting really warm when I'm sleeping though and that tends to knock me out even more.
Symptoms: getting up to go to the restroom a million times a night, sleepy, and hungry
What I miss: non-maternity clothes. Being pregnant is making me realize that I wasn't as big as I made myself out to be not pregnant.
Cravings: Slushies still. I also woke up at 6:30 this morning craving, absolutely craving, a McDonald's coke.
Best Moment this week: Little things to prepare for his arrival. His blankets, bedding, diapers, wipes, and newborn - 3 month clothes are all washed. We're getting his name for above the crib finished up. I got his second book sling finished and hung. Just getting ready :)

I am so thankful that you have kept up on this blog. It has filled so many of the gaps of me not being able to be there. I am sooo excited to be able to hold my new grandson.

I don't know what it is about McDonald's coke. My close friend Danielle and I would talk about how we craved them. It has to be partly due to the fact the straws are larger? We were convinced. Not sure exactly though......but definitely something I craved too.

Kim, I definitely believe that it has to do with the straw. Maybe the ice too :) There is definitely something about McDonald's coke though.
