16 weeks (4 months)
How Far Along: 16 weeks - this pregnancy seems like it is flying by quickly.
Size of baby: an avocado ~ 4.5 inches in length & 3.5 ounces
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +7.8 lbs. I'm really not thrilled about this as I started out 10 lbs heavier than last time and already feel huge.
Maternity clothes: in that awkward in between stage. Definitely wearing the BeBand and loving my old navy summer maternity dresses that I got...so comfy!
Movement: I *thought* I felt baby move at exactly 15 weeks while I was eating dinner but have not felt anything since so I'm going to say probably not. Just waiting.
Sleep: if I didn't have a teething or sick toddler this would probably be better. I'm tired frequently and take a nap when Hugh naps most days. The insomnia that I was suffering in the first trimester is going away (knock on wood). I've noticed that my hips are starting to ache during the night and wonder if it's time to break out the snoogle again.
Symptoms: feeling huge, sleepy, and sometime grumpy (don't ask Matt about that sometimes part). I had a gallbladder attack last weekend, which surprised me as it came out of the blue but I also did have gallbladder issues a little earlier than this point in my pregnancy with Hugh. Peeing more frequently too.
What I miss: being able to do stuff without feeling like an obese 80 year old who can't breathe without oxygen support. I feel like I have no stamina whatsoever. Also, I miss being able to wear my rings comfortably. My engagement & wedding rings have already found their place on my necklace :(
Cravings: California roll and yakisoba noodles. I've been addicted to yakisoba noodles lately.
Best Moment this week: getting to see our little munchkin on ultrasound when I had to have one for my gallbladder. The tech was great and peeked in on baby. We weren't able to tell the sex yet though so we will have to wait until the Sept. 24th anatomy scan. It was cute to see our tiny little baby moving around though.
